A Baby's Eighth Month, Motor Skills, Visual & Hearing Development
An Eight Month Old Baby At this age most babies drag their bodies and may even crawl. Most likely in the baby’s first attempts to craw he or she went back or to the side instead of forward, however soon the baby will manage indistinctively in every direction. Babies have a lot of energy and they like to choose to sit, lie down or stand. They like to scramble into everything and this is why you will need to be very careful and use extreme precautions. Place security covers in all the plugholes so that the baby does not stick his fingers in them. Be very careful with any cords, curtains, and electrical devices that are at the baby’s reach.
