About Baby Tears

A few tears do not hurt the baby, as a matter a fact, tears have a component that avoids eye infections.

What Does The Baby’s Body Say?

When the baby is tired
The baby will move from one side to the other restlessly, if the baby is sitting his or her head will wobble as if having no control of their neck. The baby’s eyes will be red or semi closed, or their look will be lost and have the eyes wide open without blinking. The baby will yawn, hit at the air and kick in an uncoordinated way. The baby will also pull on his or her own ears or cheeks and scratch at their face. The baby’s cry will start and then start etc.

When the baby is hungry
The baby will move from one side to the other, stretch his or her neck and open their mouth. Babies pucker their lips, curl their tongue and suck. They also suck on their hands. The baby will also arch his or her back looking for the mother’s breast or bottle. The crying will start up and stop but pretty soon the baby will start really crying if not paid attention to.

When the baby is stimulated
The baby will turn his or her face away from the light, hit at the air and cry with a lot of force.

When the baby is sleepy
The baby is restless, unwilling, yawns, is quiet, does not show any interest for his or her toys, and has a watery look in the eyes.

When the baby has gasses
The baby will let out a sharp cry, will groan, pant, stop breathing and then start up again. He will curl up his tongue but will not suck. The baby will make faces, twirl his or her eyes and acquire an expression that looks somewhat like a smile. The baby will shake his or her arms, become rigid, curl the legs, and twist the body.

When a baby is bored
The baby will play with his or her fingers, but will become impatient. Babies also get into a bad mood, and will not cry but will make fastidious noises.

When a baby is cold
The baby’s lower lip will shake. He or she will also shiver and get goose bumps on the skin.

When a baby is hot
The baby’s skin becomes red and sticky. You will also be able to see marked veins in the temple. The baby will whine with discomfort.

When a baby is wet or dirty
The baby will twist and make faces. Cry in a fastidious way.

When the baby needs to use the “bathroom”
The baby will push, growl, and twist and will be uneasy.

When a baby wants to be spoiled
The baby will cry with long and strong sounds, and will shake their hands and move the head to the sides.
