Boiled Rice with Vegetables Recipe
Adequate for babies nine months of age on up. 4 servings.
Ingredients 80 grams of rice 1 small carrot 4 spinach leaves 1 garlic tooth not peeled 1 parsley stick Salt (optional) A dash of olive oil
Preparation
- Peel and chop the carrots into small pieces as well as the spinach leaves.
- Place 500 cc’s of water to boil over the stove. Once it starts to boil, add in the vegetables, the rice, the garlic and parsley to aromatize it. You can also add in the salt at this point.
- Allow it to cook for 20 minutes from the moment it starts to boil.
- Take the garlic and parsley out.
- Before serving it out, add one teaspoon of olive oil to it.
- Store the rest of the rice in the refrigerator.
