Carrot Puree Recipe
Adequate for babies six months of age on up. Serves around 4 portions.
Ingredients 300 grams of carrots 200 grams of potatoes 1,250 cc’s of water or vegetable stock A pinch of salt if the child is over nine months of age
Preparation
- Wash, peel and wash the carrots and potatoes again.
- Place them to boil in the water or vegetable stock for around 45 minutes.
- Once the cooking time has finished, blend it.
- Divide the portions and set aside what is going to be used for the baby at that moment, the rest of the puree should be kept by following the storing indications.
- This recipe will be tastier if you lightly stir fry the potatoes and carrots in olive oil before placing them in the water to boil.
