Cheese Fondue Recipe
Ingredients 3.5 deciliters of white wine (half a bottle) 1 garlic tooth Limejuice 400 grams of Swiss Gruyere cheese grated 200 grams of grated Swiss cheese 1 cup of kirsch 1 tablespoon of cornstarch dessert Nutmeg Bread cut in cubes 1 bottle of aquavit 1 bottle of a nice white wine with a lot of body
Preparation Fondue is a food that is eaten with the hands and fed to the other person. So this is also a meal that should be prepared with another person. Peel a garlic tooth and rub the recipient of the fondue with it.
Place the recipient on the heat; add in the wine and a few drops of lemon. Add in the cheese cut in small cubes so that it becomes creamy easily. Stir slowly constantly and try to avoid lumps from forming. Once it is well melted and all mixed well, slowly add the kirsch to the preparation.
Do the same with the cornstarch, stirring it a little so it becomes diluted. Add this preparation into the fondue, and then add in nutmeg to the taste. Delicately stir a little and it is ready.
It is important to regulate the heat to the minimum so that it heats up without boiling.
Accompany with aquavit and white wine.
