Chicken Sticks Recipe

Chicken Sticks Recipe

Adequate for babies twelve months of age on up.
Makes 4 servings.

Ingredients
300 grams of chicken breast
½ lemon (juice)
1 egg
Flour, egg (beaten) and breadcrumbs
Salt (optional)

Preparation

  1. Get rid of all the fat from the chicken breast and then cut the chicken into long sticks, all the same size.
  2. Sprinkle the lemon juice on top of them and allow them to sit in the refrigerator for 1 to 4 hours.
  3. Prepare the sauce for the chicken sticks by flouring the chicken first (shake off the excess amount of flour) then dip them in the beaten egg, and finally the breadcrumbs.
  4. Divide the serving portions and keep the ones you are not going to use in the freezer.
  5. Fry the portion you are going to use with an abundant amount of hot olive oil. Once they acquire a golden brown color, allow them to cool on a metal rack and serve them cool.
