Cup of Coffee and Cinnamon Cream Recipe
Ingredients 1/3 cup of strong coffee 1 cup of liquid cream 2 egg yolks 2 cinnamon sticks 1 cup of milk 3 tablespoons of sugar 1 tablespoon of cornstarch 2 tablespoons of glazing sugar
Preparation Beat the eggs with the sugar and the cornstarch.
Add the milk slowly over the egg yolks while continuously mixing and cook over low heat; do not allow it to boil. It should slightly thicken and there should be no lumps.
Then add in the coffee, and then beat it and allow it to cool.
Heat up the cream and when it starts to boil, take it off of the heat and add in the glazing sugar and the cinnamon sticks (broken in small pieces) and let them sit in there until the cream is cold.
Strain the cream and beat it until it thickens.
Serve the coffee cream in cups and add in the cinnamon cream. Decorate it with mint leaves and chocolate gratings.
