Excuses of Mom and Dad When Not Knowing How to Deal With Anxiety

When a baby denies doing what the parents want, it is common that there will be tension in the atmosphere. Even though there are many things that can happen to babies, the truth is that there are cases in which you should worry.

Now, if your baby is healthy and plays, but seems to have carried about a complot to deny what you want him or her to do, it is possible the baby needs more hugs. If such is the case, don’t look for physical order to calm your anxiety. For example, it is common that many times mothers and fathers say, “He is this way because his teeth are coming in”, etc without a doubt there are occasions in which this can be true, but when a child cries this is not always what is bugging him.

When parents tend to imagine there is always something physically wrong with their baby, losing sight of the effective and emotional, instead of assuming their own anxiety, they tend to take affective and physical distance after having found the hypothetic guilty thing. I have known mothers that when they notice their baby has a tummy ache for example, have left the baby to the care of a third person, to go running to the pharmacy to find out if there was something for baby colic. Fortunately, there is medication for this type of thing, but it is also important to hold and hug the baby when he or she is in pain.
