Fish on the Iron Recipe
Adequate for babies nine months of age on up. Makes 1 serving.
Ingredients 75 grams of white or blue fish A few lemon drops Finely chopped parsley
Preparation
- To cook the fish on the iron it is important that the fish is completely flat and that at the moment of cooking the iron is very hot.
- Cooking in this way needs to be done quickly, because the fish can stick to the iron very quickly.
- When turning the fish over, add the lemon drops on the top and the chopped parsley.
- A good way to avoid the fish from sticking to the iron is to put salt on the iron before cooking the fish, but it is not advisable when cooking for small children.
- This way of cooking tends to dry the fish, making it difficult for children who are not big eaters to swallow it.
One way to avoid the fish from drying out too much is to flour the fish before cooking it.
