Hake Fillet with Carrots Recipe
Adequate for babies six months of age on up. Makes 2 servings.
Ingredients 150 grams of hake fillet without bones 150 grams of carrots 1 small laurel leaf 1 tablespoon of olive oil
Preparation
- Wash and cut the carrots into fine slices.
- Place them to cook covered in a small amount of water for around 20 minutes.
- After the carrots have been cooking for 15 minutes, add in the fish.
- Once cooked, strain the hake and the carrots, and set aside a part of the cooking liquid.
- If the baby is under eight months of age, you will need to mash the carrot with a little bit of the cooking liquid, break the hake into teensy pieces mixing well with a little bit of olive oil. If the baby is over nine months of age, break up the hake a little and chop the carrots into small pieces.
- Separate two servings and store the part you are not going to be using correctly.
