Hake Fillet with Carrots Recipe

 

Adequate for babies six months of age on up. Makes 2 servings.

Ingredients
150 grams of hake fillet without bones
150 grams of carrots
1 small laurel leaf
1 tablespoon of olive oil

Preparation

  1. Wash and cut the carrots into fine slices.
  2. Place them to cook covered in a small amount of water for around 20 minutes.
  3. After the carrots have been cooking for 15 minutes, add in the fish.
  4. Once cooked, strain the hake and the carrots, and set aside a part of the cooking liquid.
  5. If the baby is under eight months of age, you will need to mash the carrot with a little bit of the cooking liquid, break the hake into teensy pieces mixing well with a little bit of olive oil. If the baby is over nine months of age, break up the hake a little and chop the carrots into small pieces.
  6. Separate two servings and store the part you are not going to be using correctly.
