Lamb With Orange & Ginger Recipe
Ingredients 1 tablespoon of margarine 1 onion finely chopped 2 tablespoons of concentrated vegetable broth 2 tablespoons of tomato paste Fresh ginger grated 2 tablespoons of brown sugar 2 tablespoons of olive oil 8 lamb chops The juice of an orange and its grated peel Orange slices for garnishing
Preparation Melt the margarine in a casserole and cook the onion until it is soft. Add in the vegetable broth, tomato paste, grated ginger, brown sugar, oil, the juice of the orange and the grated orange peel. Cook uncovered over low heat for 8 minutes. Allow it to cool in a bowl.
Place the lamb chops over the sauce and cover them with the sauce. Refrigerate it for 6 to 12 hours so that it absorbs the sauce. Place the lamb chops over a preheated grill with oil and grill them for 15 to 20 minutes on each side until they are cooked. It is recommended to cover them with seasoning.
Serve with the orange slices as decoration.
