Organization and Consistency
It is a good idea that you get yourself organized and for you to organize all the materials you are going to be using to teach your child before you start because when you do begin you will want to establish a consistent program. The amount of fun you will have will be directly related to the amount of organization you have put into it all. A very organized mother has a strong sense of purpose of what she is doing. She will know exactly what she has done, how many times she has done, it and when it is time to move on with something else. She will always have the right an
d new information that she needs whenever she needs it. Some very good professional mothers sometimes remain in the gutter because they never take the time to organize themselves adequately and calmly. It is a tragedy though, because if they did organize themselves, they would discover that they are wonderful teachers and that they are simply stumbling over minor organization problems. A modes program, that is done with consistency and joy, will have much more success to that of a very ambitious program that will overwhelm the mother and that will therefore only be done every once in awhile. An intermittent program will not work well and will not be effective. It is vital that the child sees the materials over and over again but with speed in order for him to be able to dominate them. The fun that your child will have will come from the real knowledge and this knowledge can best be attained by having a daily routine and schedule. |
