Oriental Crepes Recipe
Ingredients For the crepes: 1 and ˝ cups of wheat flour 1 tablespoon of salt 1 tablespoon of shortening 3 eggs 2 cups of fresh milk
For the filling: 4 tablespoons of milk cream 3 tablespoons of chopped onion 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil 1 tablespoon of chopped parsley 1 tablespoon of sweet chili finely chopped 1 big peeled tomato chopped ˝ cup of mandarin juice ˝ kilogram of washed shrimp 2 tablespoons of cornstarch 1 packet of shrimp consommé ˝ cup of milk ˝ cup of water
Preparation For the crepes: Blend all the ingredients together and refrigerate it for 20 minutes. On the side in a previously greased Teflon frying pan put the 3 tablespoons of the mixture in a uniform way and in a round shape. Then brown it on both sides. Take it off the heat and continue doing the same with the rest of the blended mixture. Store once done.
For the filling: Heat the oil and lightly fry the sweet chili, the onion, parsley and shrimp. Add in the rest of the ingredients and cook until it thickens. Spice with salt and pepper to the taste.
Serve right away.
