Poached Eggs Recipe
Adequate for babies twelve months of age on up. Makes 1 serving.
Ingredients 1 egg 1 tablespoon of vinegar Water
Preparation
- Place some water in a pot with the vinegar.
- When it starts to boil, crack the egg and submerge it carefully so that it does not break.
- In order to know if it is ready, you will need to touch the egg white. If the egg white feels consistent and the egg yolk is soft, take the egg out right away with a strainer, and place it for a few minutes in a bowl with water to stop it from cooking and it is ready to serve.
It is advisable to accompany the egg with a tablespoon of hot tomato sauce or béchamel sauce.
If the egg is not very fresh, the egg white will spread out in the pot. However if the egg is fresh, the egg white will cover the egg yolk causing it to look like a little package.
