Preparing Math Material to
Teach Your Baby

The materials that you will use to teach your child math are very simple to make. These are designed keeping in mind that math is a function of the brain. They recognize the virtues and the limitations of the vision of the little child and are designed to cover all of his needs, ranging from roughness of vision to sophistication of vision and from the function of the brain to cerebral learning. All math cards should be prepared over white rigid cardboard so that they are able to resist frequent handling. To start out you are going to need: a good amount of cards of 11 X 11 inches of white cardboard. If it is possible, you can purchase them al ready cut in the size you wish. This will save you the work of having to cut them, which takes a lot more time than the rest of the work it will take to prepare the material. You are going to need at least one hundred cards to prepare your first set of materials. You will also need to have 5,050 red auto adhesive dots that are of ¾ of an inch in diameter, in order to prepare the cards from one to one hundred. You will also need a thick red colored permanent marker. Look for the one that has the thickest point as possible. The thicker the market is the better.

You will have observed that the materials need to out preparing them with big red dots. These need to be red for the simple reason that they are more attractive for little children. They have been designed this way so that the visual aid of the baby, which is still not fully developed at first, so that he will be able to distinguish them well without having to make an effort. In fact, the actual act of seeing them develop their vision in such a way that later on, when we do teach the child amounts, he will be capable of seeing these amounts and learn them easier than he would have in any other way. You will need to start by preparing the cards you are going to be using to teach your child the amounts, the real value of numbers. In order to do this you are going to prepare a game of cards that has red dots, from one card with one red dot on it to a card that has one hundred red dots on it. This job takes time, but it is not difficult. There are however, some practical tips that can ease the job of preparing these materials.
