Pumpkin Puree Recipe

Pumpkin Puree Recipe

 

Adequate for babies nine months of age on up.
Serves around 4 portions.

Ingredients
300 grams of pumpkin
150 grams of potatoes
1 tablespoon of olive oil
1,250 cc’s of water or vegetable stock
A pinch of salt is optional

Preparation

  1. Wash and chop the pumpkin and the potatoes.
  2. Stir-fry the ingredients in the olive oil for around 5 minutes.
  3. Boil the ingredients in the water or vegetable stock for around 45 minutes.
  4. Once the cooking time has finished, blend or mash it.
  5. Divide the portions and set aside what is going to be used for the baby at that moment, the rest of the puree should be kept by following the storing indications.
