Rice and Vegetables Recipe
Adequate for babies twelve months of age on up. 1 serving
Ingredients 30 grams of rice One small piece of carrot 2 small pieces of cauliflower ¼ of an onion 1 teaspoon of olive oil Salt (optional)
Preparation
- Peal and wash the onion and cut into small pieces.
- Put the onions and olive oil in a pot and allow them to cook over low heat.
- Once the onions soften, (not cooked completely though), add in the vegetables (cleaned and chopped finely) as well as the rice.
- Allow this all to cook together for 20 minutes and add three measures of boiling water per each cup of rice.
- If you are intending on using fish or chicken to this recipe, this dish will not be able to be stored and will need to be eaten on the same day.
