Rice Cake Recipe

 

Adequate for babies twelve months of age on up. 1 serving.

Ingredients
30 grams of rice
40 grams of sardines
½ hard boiled egg
1 tablespoon of cooked tomato sauce
1 olive
Salt (optional)

Preparation

  1. Boil the rice with an abundant amount of water for 18 minutes. Once it has cooked, strain it.
  2. Cook the already cleaned fish on a hot pan and cook.
  3. Once the fish has cooked, remove the bones very carefully.
  4. In a small sized bowl place half of the rice in, then break up the fish and place it on top of the rice, then add some tomato sauce on the next layer and then finally place the rest of the rice on the top. Press down on it a little so that it is well placed.
  5. Place the molded rice cake onto a plate. On the top add a little more tomato sauce, the chopped hard boiled egg, and in the center add the olive (de pitted) on the top.
  6. You can also include a little bit of salad (chopped well) around the plate for decoration.
  7. This is the type of meal that can be prepared on a special occasion like a birthday party for example.
