Some Reasons Children
Don’t Like Eating

There are occasions in which a child does not want to eat because or tiredness, when the child does not feel well, to get attention, or because the child really isn’t hungry. When this happens occasionally, you should not get alarmed about it, since usually the child then eats later on.

It is logical for a child to get tired, and want to be left alone sometimes. Sometimes tiredness alone can hinder a child’s ability to sleep causing him or her to cry without stopping. When this sort of thing happens, it is convenient to bathe the child, change him and give him some water. This will allow the child to relax and rest well and eat in the next meal.

When children get sick, they tend to cry in a different way. Babies have a tendency to getting earaches and stomachaches, however the worse moment without a doubt is when the baby’s teeth start to grow. If you were not able to relieve a baby’s pain within a few hours, it would be convenient to call your pediatrician.

Just because kids are small does not mean they aren’t as smart as grown ups are. Children have their own ways of calling out for attention, not only during meal times, but also at bed times or simply when the child wants to. When a child gets older this tends to get worse. Some children feel the need to call out for attention and one of the most effective ways of doing this is by not eating, throwing fits and crying. Because of this it is important to talk to the child when he or she is awake and play with them, and above all, feed them food that will relax them and to do this in a fun playful way so they will enjoy it.

Unwillingness to eat can be due to other things too. From the moment children are very little, they are intuitive and are able to perceive tension and alteration in their family. These things can cause stress, which ends up making the child become irritated, have difficulty sleeping, get sick, vomit or not want to eat.
