Spicy Veal with Coconut Milk Recipe
Ingredients 250 grams of veal sirloin in fine fillets 250 grams of spinach ½ cup of coconut milk 50 grams of peanuts ½ cup of natural yogurt 2 onions 2 garlic teeth 1 bobby 1 tablespoon of sugar 1 tablespoon of soy sauce paste Skin of half a lemon Ginger Shortening Salt (to the taste)
Preparation Place the onion, the garlic, the lemon peel, and ginger in a recipient well chopped. Add in a little bit of salt and half of the coconut milk than place it in the blender until you acquire a fine cream. Cut the spinach in thin strips and cook them in a pot with a little bit of the shortening.
Heat up the rest of the coconut milk in a casserole and add in the veal. When the milk starts to boil, lower the heat down to minimum heat and allow it to cook for 10 minutes. Grind the peanuts and add them into the casserole along with the sugar and the soy sauce. Allow the mixture to cook for 20 minutes more, until the meat is ready.
Place the veal on a place and pour the sauce on top. On the side place the spinach and the yogurt dressing with the chopped bobby.
This meal goes along just fine with a nice red wine. But make sure it isn’t too strong so that it does not take away from the flavor of the meal.
