Spinach Filled Omelet Recipe

Adequate for babies nine months of age on up. ½ omelet for babies less than twelve months of age, and one whole omelet for children twelve month on up.

Ingredients
1 egg
80 grams of spinach (frozen spinach can also be used)
1 teaspoon of olive oil

Preparation

  1. Boil the spinach in a teensy bit of water.
  2. Strain and put to the side so they can cool.
  3. Once the spinach has cooled down, squeeze them to get rid of all the excess water.
  4. Crack and beat the egg.
  5. Use a small thick bottomed pan and put two drops of oil in it, spread the oil around the pan well. When it is hot, add in the eggs and the spinach mixture.
  6. Stir with a wooden spatula so that it goes cooking.
  7. When it is almost completely cooked, fold the omelet in half until it is well formed and cooked.

This omelet can also be served round (this can be done by flipping the omelet with a plate).

Then turn the stove off and cover it for a couple minutes until it has cooked completely.
