Spinach Puree Recipe
Adequate for babies six months of age on up. Serves around 4 portions.
Ingredients 400 grams of spinach 200 grams of potatoes 90 cc’s of milk 1,000 cc’s of chicken stock A pinch of salt if the baby is over nine months of age
Ingredients
- Prepare the puree with the spinach and the potatoes (previously washed).
- Place them to cook with the chicken stock for 30 minutes.
- Add in the milk and allow it to cook for another 5 minutes.
- Once the cooking time has finished, blend or mash it.
- Divide the portions and set aside what is going to be used for the baby at that moment, the rest of the puree should be kept by following the storing indications.
- As was already said previously, these purees acquire a better taste when they are stir fried with a little bit of olive oil before placing them in the chicken stock to boil.
