The Education of the Parents at Meals Times
Paying Attention to Bottle Feeding Times From the very first moment a child has his or her first feeding; it needs to be done with a lot of attention and care. If a mother breast-feeds her child, besides her milk being the most adequate for the baby, a more direct bond and better communication also occurs. On the other hand if a baby is bottle fed, the type of attention given to the baby must be the same and there shouldn’t be any noise or rowdiness happening around. The calmer the person feeding the child is, the calmer the baby will be as well.
These same precautions should stay the same until the child is old enough to eat with other kids, although really this recommendation is suggested for all ages.
It is important to learn how to identify when the baby has had enough to eat. Not all babies are the same. Some eat better at certain times – and this habit continues on for a good amount of time depending on each child -. It is possible the child will not want to eat because of a stomachache (which is very common in the first months) or will simply cry because he or she is in a bad mood, because of lack of rest, or to get attention.
