The Information we Give our Children is Important
It is a terrible thing that we introduce information in our modern computers with such precision and ability while the information that we introduce into the brains of our children is done in a random, clumsy and sometimes deceitful way. Keep in mind that also opposed to what happens with computers, we cannot erase the information that we introduce into the brains of our children. The answers and information we give our children will remain in their brains and will be remembered. They will remain in the child’s brain whether it is true or whether it is false. There is a question that many children have asked which is “What is the moon made out of?” unfortunately many people say that the moon
is made out of blue cheese and there are many other similar answers that are given to children. Is this the way in which a few seconds should be used to give an answer? Even if you were to use the right answer, an appropriate answer, this is only the beginning. The words are data, the numbers are data and the images are data, especially when they are precise, discrete and are not ambiguous, and of course, to be data the answers given need to be true and accurate. Most of the encyclopaedic data that are presented to children needs to be presented on cardboard that is of 28 X 28 centimetres in size and each one of these cardboards should have a clear image of the thing that is to be presented. This thing can consist of a bird, dog, reptile, insect, flower, mineral, a work of art, a congress man or woman and so forth. |
