There are not too many geniuses, there are too few

The myths that refer to geniuses, like the ones that are referred to mothers, are a legion, and would be funny in a crazy way if they were not so slanderous. We suspect that none of the myths that refer to geniuses were made up by geniuses. They were invented by people that were under the level of geniuses, and in the myths themselves we should find some first indications on the causes and as to why they were invented. Without a doubt, one of the most generalized myths about geniuses is the one that says that geniuses, due to the fact of being so, have very big problems. We would like to study this myth asking the person reading this to take his or her time to answer the following question given his or her own experience. Who are the people that have more problems, geniuses or fools? Given that we all have friends that belong to each one of these groups; we are going to study it in the light of our own experience. The people that work in child institutions have the luck of counting on a lot of wonderful friends that fill them with emotion and happiness to be able to deal with them. It is a wonderful thing to work in an environment in where you know that ideas can be proposed without any worries, given that the geniuses know how to listen well and place a great amount of attention in what is being said. These people are very curious about all the topics brought up.

All of us have some very intelligent friends, but all of us have some dumb friends too. These people are in general people we have at some point in our lives grown up with in different neighborhoods that we have lived in etc. amongst the dumb people we have all dealt with, less frequently, we will find a genius in the group. Don’t get us wrong, we all know how fun it can be to hang around our dumb friends, even though the motives which we are around them might be different. If a person likes being around their dumb friends it’s most likely because it is relaxing to be around them. It’s easy to relax and kick your shoes off and ask silly questions. Anyway, we all like being around different types of people at different times whether they be the genius ones or the dumb ones. It is true though that one is less willing to share certain idea and opinions in the face of friends who simply would not capture the idea and it turns out they are usually a lot less tolerant and more stubborn about ideas or certain opinions than intelligent friends would be. However, in most cases, the dumb friends we have usually have a lot more problems than the clever friends we have. The ones that have problems are the dumb ones, not the geniuses. We will get back to talking about them and their greatest frustration, which are leisure topics in a little while.
