Measuring the Crown to the Rump
The length of the crown to the rump is a measure that is done during the first trimester, from the top part of the fetuses head down to the rump, which is where the back ends. It is the most precise measurement that can be seen in a sonogram for the doctor to estimate the gestation age of the baby.
