Vegetable Soup with Meat Recipe
Adequate for babies six months of age on up. Serves around 4 portions.
Ingredients 2 carrots 1 potato of 200 grams 4 spinach leaves 1 onion 160 grams of meat (without fat) 1 liter of cold water
Preparation
- Wash all the ingredients, chop them and then cook them for around 60 minutes after the water begins to boil.
- The soup should cook slowly for one hour.
- If you wish to thicken the stock a little you can add a little bit of rice flour, cereal or powdered milk to it.
- If during they cooking time the liquid has been noticeably reduced, add a little bit of water to it. You can calculate between 175 and 200 cc’s of liquid per portion.
- Divide the portions and set aside what is going to be used for the baby at that moment, the rest of the soup should be kept by following the storing indications.
- These types of soups can be served as base for other dishes.
