When the Teaching Program for your Child Should Stop
There will be occasions in which the teaching program that you are doing with your child will need to stop for a few days. This is not something problematic as long as it is not done too frequently. There are times in which the program will need to stop for a few weeks though or even for a few months. There are moments, such as if you have another baby, moving from houses, sickness, traveling and so forth are all things that can sometimes interrupt in the normal schedules of the home.
While these alterations are occurring it is better to leave the teaching program on the side completely. You can dedicate this time though to reading classical plays to your child, or take him to visit the animals in the zoo, visit museums so that he is able to see art work that you may have already taught him at home and so forth. Do not try to follow along with a truncated program during these times because it will only cause frustration to both you and your child. When you are ready to continue on with a constant program, start up from the last place you left off in. do not start again from the beginning. Whether you decide to follow along with a simple or extensive program, do whatever you think is convenient but do it consistently. You will see how your child will begin to develop with joy and confidence as the days go by. |
