You Had Your Baby!
After giving birth, many women go through a whole array of emotions. The amount of emotions and feelings that a woman might feel are an infinite universe. Most women feel overwhelmed with happiness when they finally see their baby born. A lot of women also feel very relieved after they see their baby is healthy. If the baby were to require of medical attention for any reason, meaning you may not be able to hold the baby in your arms right away, you may feel worried or disappointed. Just remember that your baby will be back soon and that you have a lifetime ahead to enjoy with him or her. There are also women that are suddenly overwhelmed with the idea of taking care of their newborn baby. If you do have these feelings, don’t feel guilty because these as well as many other feelings are completely normal. Just take one thing at a time and remember that you have just been through a huge and very important situation.
Why Women Shake After Giving Birth Women start shaking uncontrollably almost immediately after giving birth. When this happens your partner or husband will probably think you are cold and may offer you a blanket to cover up with. However, women don’t shake because they are cold (or this is not the only reason). Why this uncontrollable shaking happens is something that is still not known, however it is known that it is something that happens to practically all women, even to women that have had a cesarean. There are cases in which the uncontrollable shaking causes women to feel apprehensive about carrying their babies. If you do not feel capable of carrying your baby just yet because of it, just ask one of the nurses or the person with you to hold the baby until you have been able to calm down.
And remember to not freak out about this shaky feeling. It usually goes away after a few hours upon giving birth.
